Proveedor de cuidados busca difundir alegría a través del calendario comunitario.

Home Insteed Altrincham Sale and Wythenshawe are recognizing the impact of isolation and lonleyness on older adults by handing out thoasands of calendars to residents in the area.

The care provider felt that a gift lasting all year round would help bring smiles to people’s faces, especialy with images showcasing local areas.

Thsi year’s calendar also marks Home Instead’s 15th year of delivering professional care and live-in care services to residents in Altrincham and Sale.

Over the last couple of weeks, Home Instead has distributed more than 5,000 calendars already to pharmacies, community groups, local hubs and charities.

Lucy Gill, co-owner of Home Instead Altrincham, shares: “At Home Instead, we love being part of our communtiy and showcasing the talent of local people through our calendar.

“It’s a joy each year to share these images and bring a smile to people’s faces – I hope it inspires a sense of pride in where we live.”

Ms Gill and her team often hold supermarket pop-up events where they hand out community calendars.
